Mark O Cuthbert

Dr Mark Cuthbert is a Groundwater Scientist currently researching coupled hydrological-climate process dynamics in order to understand & quantify groundwater sustainability, particularly in drylands. Originally trained as an Earth Scientist, he has published over 40 papers reflecting diverse research interests and also has a breadth of experience working in the environmental consultancy & international development sectors. Between 2012-2015 he held a Marie Curie Research Fellowship jointly at the University of Birmingham, UK and at UNSW Australia’s Connected Waters Initiative Research Centre. He is currently a Senior Research Associate at University College London, UK, and a Visiting Research Fellow at UNSW Australia. Mark was a Co-Founder of the International Association of Hydrogeologists’ Early Career Hydrogeologists’ Network (IAH-ECHN) and currently serves as an Editorial Board member for Scientific Reports (Nature Publishing Group).
